My Nikon D200 and I had the pleasure of shooting this fashion show on August 21, 2010. MAWA, the Milwaukee African Womens Association along with 414 Magazine and the Designers, put together a night to remember. The night showcased fashions from Designers that are originally from Africa. The venue was the Helen Zelazo Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of UWM. Estalla Couture, Shitaye Design, and Wafrique Crafts were the featured Designers. The images from all the photographers were combined in After Effects to create the youtube slideshow below. Enjoy.
